A 15-year-old was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer whereas exiting a faculty bus, Texas authorities say.
The Texas Division of Public Security mentioned the 15-year-old died Thursday, Dec. 7, within the collision north of Livingston, about 75 miles northeast of Houston.
Troopers mentioned the Livingston Impartial College District bus had its “flashing purple lights and stop sign extended” when the teenager was getting off, in line with KHOU.
However the driver of the semi was unable to control their speed, hanging a automobile behind the bus, authorities instructed KRIV. The 18-wheeler then hit the coed when the bus veered to the aspect of the highway.

The scholar has not been publicly recognized, however KRIV reported he was a freshman scholar in Livingston.
The drivers of the semi and automobile concerned within the crash were uninjured, troopers instructed KTRE. It’s unclear if the semi driver will face prices.
Livingston ISD officials mentioned in an announcement the “district misplaced a member of its household.”
