NEW YORK (Reuters) -Former U.S. President Donald Trump is searching for permission to attraction a choice reinstating gag orders in his New York civil fraud case to the state’s highest courtroom, a courtroom submitting confirmed on Monday.
A mid-level state appeals courtroom final week reinstated the gag orders, which barred Trump and his legal professionals from making public statements about courtroom workers. An appeals courtroom choose had quickly paused the order on Nov. 16.
Justice Arthur Engoron imposed the gag order on Trump on Oct. 3 after Trump accused Engoron’s high clerk of political bias in a submit on his Fact Social platform.
