A sperm whale that got here dangerously near swimmers at Port Seaside, Fremantle, on December 9, beached itself on a Rockingham sandbar, about 30 kilometres south, in line with local reports.

This footage, filmed by Jeffrey Krause, exhibits swimmers approaching the whale, with some touching the animal.

The City of Rockingham closed the foreshore on Monday after the whale was noticed that morning.

“The Division of Biodiversity, Conservation and Sights (DCBA) are on web site managing the state of affairs”, town mentioned.
