MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Wednesday expressed his fierce contempt for members of Fox Information’ reside studio viewers who watched Sean Hannity’s most up-to-date interview with Donald Trump.
Through the city corridor that aired on the conservative community Tuesday evening, members of the viewers cheered when the former president and Republican 2024 front-runner declared he’d only act like a dictator on “day one” of a possible second time period.
Scarborough, the cohost of “Morning Joe,” was surprised and referred to as the viewers’s response a “illness.”
“There’s a illness. There’s a illness amongst, sadly, a few of our fellow Individuals relating to authoritarianism and totalitarianism,” he mentioned. “They need it as a result of when he promised that he can be a dictator on day one, he obtained applause.”
Scarborough described the idolatry of Trump amongst Republicans as “a persona cult.”
He added, “It’s very unhealthy for America, and make no mistake of it, a big chunk of these individuals in that viewers cheering when Donald Trump mentioned, ‘I’ll be a dictator on day one,’ properly, they need that.”
