MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.4 alleged gang members had been arrested in reference to a theft and separate capturing of a 6-year-old boy in Mountain View that each occurred on Christmas day.

The theft occurred at a 7-Eleven on 1905 Latham Road, throughout which a necklace was stolen, in response to the Mountain View Police Division. Later that very same day, a capturing occurred within the 900 block of Clark Avenue, leaving a 6-year-old injured.

Throughout the two-week investigation, officers recognized 4 individuals in reference to the theft and capturing.

On Wednesday, detectives executed search and arrest warrants for the 4 suspects, recognized as 18-year-old Tristen Villanueva of Mountain View; 20-year-old Gilbert Murillo of Mountain View, and two juveniles.

Villanueva was charged with theft, assault, assault more likely to trigger nice bodily hurt, conspiracy, and gang enhancement. Murillo was charged with conspiracy and gang enhancement. The 2 juveniles had been charged with conspiracy and gang enhancement.
