CHICAGO – Chicago police are warning residents on the North Facet a few string of armed robberies within the space.
In every incident, the offender approached victims on the road, produced a handgun and introduced a theft.
The offender then demanded the sufferer’s cellphone, bank cards and cash.
After getting the victims’ cell telephones and bank cards, the offender made purchases and used the victims’ financial institution apps to switch cash to accounts.
The incidents occurred on the following areas and occasions.

1100 block of North Clark Road on Nov. 18, 2023, within the morning hours

1000 block of North State Road on Dec. 2, 2023, within the morning hours

1900 block of North Mohawk Road on Dec. 26, 2023, within the morning hours

1100 block of West Armitage Avenue on Jan. 6, 2024, within the night hours
Chicago police say the offender is an African American man between the ages of twenty-two and 26. He was armed with a black handgun.
