Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) ripped those that tried to cancel her book-signing occasion marking the third anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol, touting {that a} new location had been secured.

“The Communist Democrats tried to close down my guide signing,” Greene said in a video posted late Friday to X, the platform previously referred to as Twitter. “They misplaced!”

“I’ll be in Orlando, FL tomorrow evening at a brand new venue to signal copies of my model new guide MTG. See you there!!” she added.

The Georgia lawmaker was responding to the information that the Westgate Resort refused to host the signing. The venue, situated in Kissimmee, Fla., claimed it was “not made conscious” of the aim of the occasion.

“Please be suggested that Westgate was not made conscious of the aim of this occasion once we have been approached to host a guide signing,” the resort stated in an emailed assertion. “This occasion has been cancelled and is not happening at our resort.”
