(Reuters) -Tesla will not be providing its workers yearly merit-based inventory awards, Bloomberg Information reported on Tuesday.

Tesla didn’t instantly reply to Reuters’ request for remark.

The information comes after United Auto Staff union mentioned in November it’s launching a first-of-its-kind push to publicly arrange the complete nonunion auto sector within the U.S., together with Tesla, after successful new contracts with the Detroit Three automakers.

The corporate’s managers delivered the information to salaried workers, the report said, including that 4 workers from completely different departments instructed Bloomberg Information they imagine the transfer was widespread.
