A person was taken into custody after strolling out of an emergency exit door and onto the wing of an Aeromexico airplane Thursday.

Passengers of the flight are defending the person, claiming the person’s actions “saved” them from harmful situations.

The Associated Press reported that the airport stated in a press release that “a passenger on a flight to Guatemala opened an emergency door on a airplane whereas it was stationary at a distant place, stood on a wing, after which re-entered the cabin, with out affecting the plane or anybody else.”
